Welcome! My name is Kim Whiting. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a  degree in Early Childhood Special Education and have taught in the Ankeny school district since 1989.

I teach a program which is now known as "The Little Hawks Preschool". We have children ages 3-5 years old who have special needs and also children who are "typically" developing.  For children who enter our preschool it is usually the first experience they have with school, so my preschool staff and I hope that every child will find learning fun, and have the desire to learn more and more....
 
Personal information:
I live in Ankeny with my children, Jasmine and Michael. I enjoy tennis, swimming, and watching my children's activities.
